Selene was born and raised in Mazatlan. Her family was among the first to discover Mazatlan and its charm over 6 generations ago. Growing up, Selene was exposed to a mix of formal education, strong values, ethics and family pride. After completing High School in Mazatlan, Selene completed her formal education at Universidad de Occidente. She has witnessed tremendous growth and development in her hometown. Selene is proud of Mazatlan’s past and is excited to be a part of its future.
In addition to Spanish, Selene is fluent in English. Selene began her career in real estate with a large internationally recognized agency. While attending training seminars and the national convention, she studied and worked hard, gaining the knowledge and confidence to open her own office in 2009.
These skills combined with her love and knowledge of Mexico and it's people, make her uniquely qualified to guide you through the exciting, yet sometimes confusing process of buying and enjoying your dream home in Mazatlan.
Clients enjoy Selene’s friendliness and outgoing personality. She is willing to assist them in the entire buy/sell process, giving them confidence in their transaction. Selene is the business woman to help you with all your real estate needs. Her partner Gary McQuin moved to Mazatlan in 2005. Drawn by its climate, cultural activities and the warmth of the people Gary decided to take the opportunity to live here year round. He purchased his first condominium in Cerritos.
While he is not yet fluent in Spanish, Gary's second language is "Finance and Investments". He first discovered this language at the University of Oregon where he earned a BA in Business and Political Science.
Gary's experiences running small businesses, working for Job Corps in the US and extensive involvement in Real Estate give him an appreciation of how hard you have worked for your money and how important it is to feel safe and secure with your investment.
More importantly, Gary has firsthand experience buying and selling his personal homes here in Mazatlan. These experiences have shown Gary exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence, when it comes to Real Estate.
One of the many things that drew Gary to Mazatlan was the chance for community service. There are many opportunities to serve others in Mazatlan. Although visitors may see little poverty in the tourist area of fancy restaurants and hotel, just a few short miles away families are living in extreme poverty. Gary is associated with La Vina del Pacifico. Their mission is simple, “feed the poor”.
Selene and Gary became the MazatlanDreamTeam in 2008. They share common beliefs in honesty, ethics and hard work. Clients enjoy working with both of them. They are open, friendly and outgoing.
